Alain has over a decade of experience in the sustainability consulting, with in-depth knowledge in sustainability strategy development, GHG emissions measurement, decarbonization and climate risk. Before joining ENGIE Impact, Alain was an Associate Director in KPMG Singapore’s sustainability consulting team and led several GHG emissions measurement and decarbonization exercises.

Before moving to Singapore, Alain was a Manager with EY South Africa, leading the climate change and energy service offering in South Africa and subsequently joined IBIS Consulting as a Senior Specialist in climate change and sustainable finance. In these roles, Alain worked extensively across the African continent.

Alain holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Development Planning and Management from Stellenbosch University and has a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and Development.
