In my role as Managing Director for the Americas, I lead our business organization focused on advising and supporting companies as they transition toward Net Zero.
In what way do you and the teams you lead further ENGIE Impact’s mission to accelerate sustainable transformation?
We’re focused on leading initiatives that support our clients toward actionable decarbonization roadmaps that make sense for their business. We bring the ability to partner with C-suite leaders on developing a climate action plan with the specialization to focus on energy reduction and implementing innovative technologies — ensuring our clients can effectively manage and reduce their carbon emissions in a way that still makes financial sense and preserves their operational priorities. By coupling strategy and energy expertise with energy management programs across diverse industries and geographies, we continue to drive sustainable transformation at both speed and scale.
What does success at ENGIE Impact look like?
Success is measured by the tangible reductions in energy consumption, spending, and carbon emissions achieved by the organizations we partner with. Success also includes the successful implementation and navigation of energy management programs that lead to long-term sustainability and operational efficiency. We are more than just advisory and strategy; ENGIE Impact is driven by the ability to take our clients further on their journey. Ultimately, success is the actual carbon reduction, positive environmental impact, and cost savings realized by our clients.
How did your background prepare you for this role at ENGIE Impact?
My progression into roles within energy and sustainability came after 15+ years of factory, process, and capex management. I feel this has really been beneficial to helping me deliver insights and practical advisory, and better supporting our clients as I understand their challenges — having faced them myself in similar roles. Bridging my operational background within an energy company like ENGIE leading on energy transition has prepared me to lead a fantastic team as we help clients focus on energy and carbon reduction.
What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?
Taking on climate change requires commitment and sometimes very long hours, but I make sure to always find the time for my #1 priority in life: my family. We live in northern NY which comes with love of the outdoors and spending as much time in the woods and water as possible.
