As Chief Financial Officer, I lead the finance team that ensures both the day-to-day and overall financial performance of ENGIE Impact worldwide. I am proud to be part of such a highly qualified and committed team that is passionate about making sustainability a reality.
How do you and your teams advance ENGIE Impact's mission to accelerate the sustainability transformation?
The finance teams are involved in every step of ENGIE Impact's value chain. Every day, they support the work of the organizations as business partners by creating calculations, issuing invoices to customers, processing and recording transactions, or reporting to management. They are dedicated professionals who are always willing to go the extra mile.
How does ENGIE Impact define success?
Cross-functional teams such as finance play a key role as instruments for innovative, efficient and profitable business activities. We all contribute together to making sustainability a reality today.
How did your professional experience prepare you for this role at ENGIE Impact?
Since 2019, I have been Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Head of FP&A for ENGIE Impact. I was responsible for monitoring financial performance and reporting, as well as coordinating budget planning and forecasting cycles.
Overall, I have more than 16 years of professional experience at ENGIE, both in finance and in the operational business (gas, renewable energies and services), where I have developed strong adaptation and cooperation skills.
I began my career in the global gas and LNG business, initially as an economist for negotiating long-term gas contracts and then as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Gas & LNG business unit. As a graduate of the ENGIE Finance Talent Program (Financial Boarder Program), I had the opportunity to work with senior finance teams at various levels of ENGIE, from Business Controlling in Dubai to Acquisition Investment & Financial Advisory or Investor Relations teams in Paris, before joining the Group's FP&A department in 2014.
In 2017, I was appointed Deputy Chief Financial Officer of ENGIE Solar, where I accompanied the integration of the newly acquired company into the Group.
What do you like to do in your free time?
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, going out to eat with friends, and doing a lot of outdoor activities. I also bought a piano last year and am just at the beginning of the learning curve, but it can only go uphill from here.
