See All Leadership

As Chief Financial Officer, I lead the finance team focused on both everyday and overall financial performance of ENGIE Impact globally. I am proud to be part of such a highly skilled and committed team as we work to help make sustainability happen.

In what way do you and the teams you lead further contribute to ENGIE Impact’s mission to accelerate sustainable transformation?

The finance teams are involved in each and every step of ENGIE Impact’s value chain. Every day they support the organizations’ operations as business partners—by providing costing, invoicing clients, processing and recording transactions or reporting to management. They are committed professionals who are always willing to go the extra mile.

What does success at ENGIE Impact look like?

Transversal functions like finance have a key role to play as strategic enablers of innovative, efficient and profitable business activities. We collectively contribute to making sustainability happen today.

How did your background prepare you for this role at ENGIE Impact?

Since 2019, I’ve been Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Head of FP&A for ENGIE Impact. I was responsible for managing the financial performance monitoring and reporting, as well as coordinating the budget planning and forecasting cycles.

Overall, I have more than 16 years of professional experience within ENGIE, both in Finance and Operations (gas, renewable energy, and services) where I worked to develop strong adaptation and collaboration skills.

I started my career in global gas and LNG activities, first as an economist on long-term gas contracts negotiation and then as Deputy Chief of Staff of the gas & LNG business line. As an alumnus of ENGIE Finance talent program (Financial Boarder program), I had the opportunity to collaborate with executive finance teams at various levels of ENGIE, from business controlling activities in Dubai, to Acquisition Investment & Financial Advisory or Investor Relations teams in Paris, before joining the Group FP&A department in 2014.

In 2017, I was appointed Deputy Chief Financial Officer of ENGIE Solar, where I accompanied the integration of the newly-acquired entity into the Group.

What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?

When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and three children, enjoying dinners with friends, and going outdoors. I also bought a piano last year and am currently at the bottom of the learning curve but can only go up from here.
