As Executive Managing Director, Sustainability Solutions, I lead the growth of ENGIE Impact in North, Central and South America, supporting the most influential organizations and cities on accelerating their sustainability transformation to achieve long-term economic growth.

In what way do you and the teams you lead further contribute to ENGIE Impact’s mission to accelerate sustainable transformation?

Our teams engage, advise and accompany organizations throughout their sustainability transformation. We act as an accelerator for businesses, helping them gain clarity on their ambition and develop a business case that delivers a return on investment. We are an essential partner in closing the gap between goals and progress from strategy to implementation and beyond.

What does success at ENGIE Impact look like?

Helping organizations transition at speed and at scale to a low carbon economy.

How did your background prepare you for this role at ENGIE Impact?

I have supported organizations on a broad range of strategic and operational issues in energy, decarbonization and sustainability for over 17 years. I am confident that the experience and expertise developed throughout this time prepared me well to engage and support leaders on their sustainability journey.

  • Prior to leading the Sustainability Solutions Americas team, I was responsible for our team in Latin America. In just about two years, we established and grew a world-class team supporting a wide range of global companies accelerate their decarbonization journeys.
  • Before joining ENGIE Impact, I was a founder and partner at EA Group, an organization focused on improving sustainability and energy efficiency in the construction and infrastructure industry with activities in North America and South America.
  • While at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in San Francisco, I was a management consultant and core member of the Energy and the Operations Practice with a focus on distributed energy resources, renewable energy and utility transformations.
  • I hold Masters and Doctoral degrees from Harvard University and I am a Fulbright Scholar.

What do you like to do when you’re not in the office?

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and son, exploring the nearest mountain ranges, whether it be hiking, mountain biking or skiing.
